I only brought attention to oasis not because I am invested but because I I've been following this project from 2020 when Marvin used to speak about this being more focused on privacy. I believe back then Marvin spoke about creating a privacy diem which was supposed to be Facebook stable coin at the time. So there was a shift from privacy to what it currently is. I believe the reason was due to the zk invention. I was wondering if that reason still stands seeing how expensive it is to depoly zk

hi, indeed phala used to de focused on privacy, the journey we're in brought us to the deployment of a whole network dedicated to offchain computation, capable of doing a lot of things, including privacy by computing data with trustless workers. It turned out that the capabilities of this network is way more than just privacy, that's why we rebranded ourself, for people to know that we bring offchain computation and verifiable smart contract, in a trustless way, to any chain
