A technical question about security. If I send 1 BTC

from Poloniex to the Tron network, can Poloniex dispose of or spend the native BTC or does the contract protect me from being blocked and unable to be sold until I decide to recover it by returning the BTC trc20 wrappet?

First question to ask should be which address(es) ...

The contract is already audited by experts with the highest qualification in tronscan, I am not paid nor do I have the knowledge to do so. Surely on the official TRONDAO forum there are great experts willing to dispel any doubts about the security of BTC trc20.

I would say if you have your BTC and turn it into wBTC on the Tron Network, your original crypto is safe. Tron uses a smart contract that its freely audited by anyone at anytime to confirm the custody of BTC is still valid. ie if there are 100 BTC there needs to be 100 wBTC. As I have never seen or hear of any previous issues about out of balance custody, to me it seems safe.
