Why have I just been kicked from the reef trading group? All i said was im making no money on reef and I’ll come back when it decides to move didn’t call your token in any way?

Thats correct. Reef is a blockchain with a burn mechanism. Therefore we do not have a max supply. Reef mints and burns coins to regulate based on activity on the blockchain.

It's not necessarily a problem that a blockchain does not have a maximum supply for its token. It's all about activity. There are enough examples of chains where this token model works like a charm. Reef is still in its early stages, and the ecosystem is steadily growing, albeit slowly.

Reef implements NPoS (Nominated Proof-of-Stake), a relatively novel and sophisticated mechanism to select the validators who are allowed to participate in its consensus protocol. The NPoS encourages REEF holders to participate as nominators. That requires it to have no max supply of tokens.
