Don'T know how as I double checked last digits of

address and tag I was sending it to, but while transfering to htx I got the tag wrong somehow

What now? They lost? Ffs!

Address or payment ID(tag) wrong? Just like any crypto, if you send to the wrong address, it's not recoverable. If you put the payment ID(tag) in wrong.. then you can speak to the exchange and see if they will be willing to help ..as the coins will be in their wallet... just nothing to mark them as belonging to your account. It will be down to them. Good luck, and remember to check, double check, triple check in crypto. It's also often a good idea to send a smaller amount first to test as well.
