There will always be some random alts that pump out of the blue during crypto winters but in general it's looking dire right now. I do think things will pick up around the BTC halving, though. If the Dems (who are driving the majority of anti-crypto regulation and allowing the current lunatics in the Fed to run the economy into the ground) lose big in November 2024, there will be a market rally in early 2025. Otherwise. crypto is in for more dark days. BTC and ETH are the only relatively safe plays in times such as these, though if you have the cash for gambling and the patience to wait another year, it's a great time for buying cheap alts. Just be prepared to sell in late 2024 if the Dems retain the presidency and retake majorities in Congress. At least then we will be able to test the theory that BTC is a hedge against a new Great Depression.
