Hey @samkazemian... now that sFRAX vith 10% APR has been

deployed, doesn't it make FPI obsolete? Could you clarify what is now the intended purpose of FPI or how it is different from sFRAX as for retaining of value of money? Thx in advance...

sFRAX targets the IORB rate, not the CPI inflation rate which is what the FPI peg follows. This is one of the few times in the past 20 years where the Fed pays a higher IORB rate than the inflation rate. This is usually not the case. Inflation is almost always higher than the IORB rate. While the IORB rate is higher than the inflation rate, it is better to hold sFRAX yes. But the FPI peg follows CPI so you can use it as a unit of account without worrying about what the IORB rate will be in the near future.

Bunni <3’s FPI! Gotta get some more demand on Arbitrum though for sure.. Hmu if you have any ideas frens.

Where is this happening?

Its Bunni’s UI on Arbitrum

Sfrax will only “retain the value of money” if iorb rate is higher than inflation. FPI will always increase at rate of CPI.
