With all respect but I’m not a fan of the UN with Onehumanity ideas. Unelected officials who like to rule the world.

I totally agee it is a very dangerous process and the signals of corruption are there. I hope everyone is very critical on this movement and especially Hedera

🤔 There is corruption everywhere. From the back street car repair shop to the National and supra national governments. And the fact we are NOT one world makes that corruption MUCH easier. One counter point to your assertion that ‘it’s very dangerous’ is that Unless and until we find a mechanism of global Governance that the entire world subscribed to we will constantly have wars, famine, terrorism, disease and all manor of discord. . I’m not saying there are not dangers, especially in unelected officials dictating the workings of the world, but my point of view is we need a system of universally accepted governance that has teeth to enforce it if we are ever going to solve some of humanities most intractable problems… Oh. And BTW- DLT, properly used, means far better control of corruption at ALL levels, perhaps much of our energy needs to be focused on using it to keep our elected officials accountable to their constituents as much as we use it to keep citizens accountable for their actions.

The issue with these global organizations is that there is no direct accountability.

Wars, terrorism etc won't be solved by any form of global governance. Those things are unfortunately inbuilt into humans. Sad but true

That, my friend and with respect, is rubbish. War, terrorism and alike are the results of desperation and fear/ greed. All of those are the result of poor governance models (or a complete lack of it). The human condition, rather than being hard wired for those things, is titled against them. It is only ‘capable’ of those things when unduly influenced by desperation, fear or greed. This obvious point is clear when you consider that there are billions of people around the world NOT engaging in these things. And that will only change if there is high quality, truly global governance, with teeth. To be clear I’m not saying we will get there in the next hundred years… Unless AI or something truly remarkable delivers it. But I am saying those who would like to see humanity truly thrive should be working towards.

Ok, i apreciate your point. Perhaps put it this way. The human brain is hard wired for religion and also self interest. That is a fact. Unfortunately it brings with itself a multitude of problems
