If you purchase ilv you have 2 options for getting rewards. One is to lock up the ILV and depending on if you lock it up for 1 month or 12 you get like 1 to 4 percent staking apy. You can also make an LP token of ILV-ETH and earn 30ish percent apy if you lock up the LP token for a year. But do not do yield farming with LP tokens until you understand impermanent loss. The main thing to know for staking ILV is that when the game eventually makes money. All the ETH purchases in the game go yo a vault that pays out ILV stakers. Depending on how many ILV you own you get money from the vault. So if the ETH vault makes 500 million a year and 5 million ILV tokens qualify for revenue distribution you get 100 dollars back per ILV. This is not an exact figure but a close approximation.
