Yes, it is a general compute rollup. It’s not an appchain. We plan to support any and all developers that want to build on it including if they want to build other stablecoins/LSDs/anything without necessarily using Frax assets. We’ve always been positive sum. The goal is to make building on Fraxchain the most profitable and useful for projects among the major rollups. 💪️️️️

Will it somehow be like a Luna/UST play (not talking about the algorithmic part or the negative aspects around that) but having an ecosystem around FRAX like how they planned to do with with Terra?

It’s more generalized than the Luna play. Fraxchain is a technology thesis+ecosystem chain. We have a specific worldview on how rollups and chains will evolve and plan to build never-before-seen tech including blockspace incentives (no one has attempted this before) and zk R&D. I believe Luna was simply a fork of Cosmos with Terra branding. We are building core rollup technology in a thesis-driven manner for Fraxchain. It will be big. It’s not an appchain. 🤫

$FXS is the chain token/gets sequencer revenue. And in future updates will control sequencer decentralization mechanics.

Blockspace incentives this is the part that will be special that few understand so apps built on fraxchain get incentives for blockspace usage and users get incentives for utilizing the chain which will turbocharge chain growth way beyond what we've seen fron the likes of chains like base.
