How would it be measurable? Extractable value would decrease along side it so it's kind of a non-issue. If it dies it won't be due to mining rewards it'd be due to lack of interest or some black swan.

[@navip] well probably it is measurable in some way, you can follow the trend for last two years, price, hashrate, dag size....... Yeah all POW start with one miner, and no one wants to go back and end there. Trying to see if that scenario is possible, how possible it is, in what way can affect ergo, something can be done to avoid that........ To me as small miner and investor, it is interesting, it is just two years from now, the closer we are to that scenario, greater the risks. trying to see how big the risks are.
