you think on the more emerging types of DLTs, basically Directed Acyclic Graphs and Hashgraphs" 1:39:35
Hedera Community member Tatsuaki Okamoto asks Cardano Founder about Hedera's consensus algo!
2/ "Are you a blockchain? No! You're no better than a *** overglorified database. But you just told everybody you're the world's fastest blockchain, and you have all these Moonboy idiots on Twitter just clapping like seals, telling people how great it all is" 1:46:05
3/ "Meanwhile, the people that did the real hard work and thinking about this stuff, they're just sitting there, just getting 💩 on, pissed on everyday by these Moonboy idiots, running around saying 'Ho!Ho!Ho! We're Billion tps! Ho!Ho!Ho!" 1:46:22
4/ "May I just ask a quick question related to this? What do you think of Dr. LeemonBaird's Hashgraph? 1:48:15
"It's an interesting federated BFT model...Where and when it works, you get fast finality and high thoughput" 1:48:30
Charles Hoskinson finally confesses!

Now this is one I have to listen…. Charles positive about hgraph. What??
I listened but again disappointed.. what a load of 💩 comes out of his mouth.. Speaking of a trade-off that hashgraph must have because of the high throughput. It has to affect the Byzantine fault tolerance because of that.. It doesn’t if I am not mistaken? Can anyone enlighten me?
It thought that. Hoskinson sounds like a bedroom enthusiast dropping buzz words in every few seconds. Sounds impressive at first but he's been doing it for years and most can see through it. How the fcuk Cardano got away with a 90bn plus mcap in 21 is one of life's mysteries.
There is no trade off. Hedera maintains aBFT (a higher standard than BFT) even with the high throughput.
His mouth is utter garbage and those tongue twisting statements may be bliendly listen by his followers. He is not mathematician either.
He won't acknowledge publicly any competitors advantages obviously, but besides his generic statements, you can gauge somewhat of a confession when he said 'It's an interesting protocol' and 'can achieve high throughput and fast finality'. The rest is just trying to dilute his genuine observations.
