Does anyone know why Bybit requires 60 confirmations for XEC

input and output, even though the ECASH website states that 3 confirmations are required?

Phlip - Not giving away coins

Sometimes it is a mistery why exchanges do what they do. I guess they are not aware of the security features added and do not care to educate themselves. So they chose to keep the very large number of confirmations required. It is their business decision. Nothing to do with the network as other exchanges requiring only a few confirmation shows that they are fine with the new security model that "avalanche post consensus" has introduced.

It doesn't matter from where you send. It matters where you are taking deposit

Confirmation and Utilization is any Centralised entity's own discretion. They want it 60 that's why. Just like BTC requires only 1 confirmation but Binance will not let you trade without 3 confirmation.
