So my metamask is the wallet with staking eligibility. I

have a trezor but I assume it uses diff address so I’ll be in staking with a hot wallet then??

We’re all just degens mate. I bought a trezor a year ago and threw my link in. Just check once a month they’re still alive. Didn’t know I could migrate my metamask address to the trezor.

Brother. If you migrated an address that has been on the internet. That is not as secure as generating a whole new address

I’m confused can you dumb that down. Ok so I have a metamask address. It’s been in use since I bought link in 2019. It’s mostly been dead bc I just buy and hodl. Have done some DeFi with other tokens other addresses. Bought trezor bc “cold storage” etc. put all linkies on that address. It’s not eligible for early access but the metamask OG is. Are you guys saying I can enter private key into trezor, linking MM address with the trezor > transfer kinkies > stake linkies and own them? Or am I dead on arrival

Did you generate the new address on the Trevor, and didn’t import the address?

Bro how can you just assume it uses a different address? You need to educate yourself on wallets. There’s a lot of resources out there.
