Not sure what ledger connect is or does, but if it's ledger i would think you need to confirm it.. Challenge is that it's sometimes hard to understand what the text on the screen actually means for the novice. Try using ledger on Cardano and it show's you a bunch of stuff that to a normal user makes no sense...like witness path. On ergo at least if confirms the outgoing tokens and the address in a simple way (but could still confuse a regular user).

[@ranchyspatula] Ledger connect let’s you connect a wallet from an extensive list of approved wallets to a dapp. It does not have to be a hardware wallet. I’m sure a lot of people were affected by this. I feel for them
