Just to add to what Eric said, it was a really long saga but iirc Cream made a very limited payback offer in Cream tokens which was calculated using a Cream price of around $100 before it quickly plunged to around $30 (now $17) so nowhere near making those who lost whole. Plus with all the uproar I'm not sure if Cream even followed through on that initial promise. Saying this partial reimbursement offer was done because it's cheap is ignoring a two-year long process that finally made this happen. They could have easily given up ages ago. Shows integrity if you ask me.

They made many promises and I think they ultimately made some sort of “payback” I can’t remember exactly. But it was not anything substantial, and essentially left Amp holders that lost in the cold.
