by a few? Didn’t Jordan Fried take an hbar grant and run off with the money?

Have you ever heard of 'give a bit, to get a bit'? Do you think Bill Gates and his mates had a tiny piece of the pie to start off with. Most companies begin with a large amount of shares in the hands of a few. That's how the corporate world works. And there are government backed tax incentive schemes out there that allow equity to be given away cheaply in the early stages to encourage growth. Charles Adkins will be trying to corner more of the retail market having held influential positions at Polygon and Aptos, as well as BD and marketing roles at Nike and other big brands.
