Ok .. Lets start from the top Shall we ?

As many of you are aware, We have Block producers (BP)

What is a Block producer (BP) you may ask? ... A BP is a person or group that has certain PC Hardware that validates and verifies the blockchains transactions that go in segments or groups called Blocks. Something crucial for most blockchains .. so they can run smoothly and all transactions are executed swiftly and with no issues.

So try to imagine a company or office , with a ton of big computers , with a lot of pc ventilators , cables , energy consumption , heavy investment in graphic cards , CPU , RAM ..all that jazz. All of this runs 24/7 non stop .. blockchain never sleeps. Some ofc can be bigger than others .. and some BP run and validate these blocks for more than 1 project.

Logically you dont wanna put all your eggs in 1 basket and require more than 1 BP for all of this to work .. for several reasons.

Ultra has currently 7 Blockproducers. Located all over the world .. Brazil , USA , Sweden, Korea ...etc.

Bps are service providers for Ultra ... running our blockchain. And for this service we have an established payment system. UOS payments are done via a 1% cap inflation method

Now, logically .. they are entitled to do what they want with this UOS. They have bills to pay, employees to feed , rent , Hardware investment , pc repairs , heavy energy consumption , backup energy alternatives (they can never be turned of .. so you need stuff to back it up just in case like generators )

Now, despite having the freedom to do what they want with their UOS .. many of them , have hold on to their UOS. Which has turned them into big holders of UOS or whales if you whish.

Some of these BPs have several revenue streams .. like Ubisoft for example.. big company , doesnt really rely on UOS sales to get by. So they hold on to their UOS .. I would believe they know who they are partnered with and are quite bullish and of course , believe in ultra (just my assumption)

There are other BPs .. that may not be as big perhaps , or have different approaches with their UOS handlings (they are in all their right ofc ) .. but does not mean at all they dont believe in Ultra .. or that they deserve the ultra community to be tweeting at them or disecting their post history. We dont have the full picture here. We try to mantain a healthy relationship with them and always be up to date ,, and until today , no issues or notices of shutting down has been informed.. just community assumptions based on a MCdonald meme. Now .. maybe the tweet should spark a call or 2 to check in on them .. but thats it.

On the other hand , one of my personal fav BPs .. is EOSRIO .. our blockproduer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They I must say are the most engaged BP with our community and project. For any of you who dont know .. one of their Employees and key Staff is a BR Moderator in our Discord. He has helped me capture brazilian influencers , and helped translate articles to portugues , and played a HUGE role in turning Brazil into our 2nd largest demographic regarding Community. They also always support us on Social Media and have been great BPs. Do they sell some UOS from time to time? Maybe .. but that is perfectly fine.

So as you can see BPs come in many shapes and sizes.

I personally would love every single BP to have more involvement with the community and project, and perhaps something might be done in the future to improve this. (Maybe opening a communtiy applied BP position ?? Who knows .. the topic logically came up again these days )

Now .. there are other BPs .. cough cough Ubi ... that have a much more "behind the scenes" collab with Ultra .. that indeed also brings huge benefits to the community .. cough cough Champion Tactics coming to Ultra .. cough cough .. you get where im going?

Hi sir, you’re talking about champions tactic, but we know they’re using another blockchain. Do you think there is a world where they’re being multi chain and use UOS blockchain ? As they’re BP it would be very logical for me

Regarding that game they are already building on Oasys. Doesnt mean there wont be any possible synergies in the future 👍🏻

I'm all here for "fudding" / criticising certain aspects 😛 but this BP story doesn't sound that big of a deal. It seems blown out of proportion a little bit
