My only point of raising this point was to slightly

decrease the transaction 'time' of exchange to exchange or p2p transactions whatever confirmations

like If a trader sees an arb opportunity on x exchange I should not feel like man its gonna take 20-30 minutes with all the confirmations and shit, will the opportunity even be there by the time their transaction get processed?

If that is how you arbitrage you would get screwed with fees and time no matter what. You would have funds on both exchanges and buy/sell at the same time

I worded my example incorrectly, but reducing/improving/scaling on chain p2p tx times is what I wanted to bring forward for discussion
