So out of curiosity what was it that excited people

here about Cartesi when you first heard about it?

Here: mind blown - thinking only simple wasm could be verified and they had made it possible to run a full Linux machine and no need for crappy tooling that wasm had

I have always appreciated Cartesi’s ability to address the logical progression of blockchain’s maturation. We are beginning to witness the broader acceptance of the modular thesis, but Cartesi has anticipated this move well in advance and positioned itself accordingly. It is fitting that the project’s design is inspired by Ethereum because I believe Cartesi has an Ethereum style role to play in broadening the capabilities of the industry.
