am developer, I have developed app and want to use it with cartesi tech, can I start using it immediatly or do I have to wait till some sort of system issues will be sorted out? If I have to wait, how long it may take?
In a nutshell, it very much depends on the complexity of your dApp. In simple terms, you don’t need to expect anything; Cartesi’s tech is open source and the use is permissionless. You can deploy your dApp on mainnet right now. However, would you do that and support the costs of deploying the contract and the expenses involved with validators if you don’t have a well-put strategy for feasibility?
Thanks Cynthia, that’s a language I understand:) Of curse I appreciate Cartesian for his answers too! What can be done to reduce costs for developers to attract them?
My pleasure, anytime. I'm not saying there are big costs, as this again depends on what your dApp intends to do and the underlying chain on which it is deployed. But, there would be costs, some of which may even be recurrent. Therefore, a developer wouldn't deploy dApps on the mainnet just for fun. They would be deploying on the testnet, perhaps until they further analyze their strategy.
Cynthia said it better than me!
