Anyone think we'll ever see a cap on the amount

of Amp in certain pools? Seems like if the price of amp would go up by a decent amount, certain pools might only need so much capacity, which would make sense to put a cap in place to keep apy's at a worthwhile rate

If say Solana is paying a low APY, it people will put their money into a node paying a higher APY like Lightning. There is no need for a Flexa specific "cap". The market will dictate that and cap it own its own.

keep in mind, that, the current APY rates you see, are supported by the development fund. once that runs out ( anybody knows when? ) the APY's shall drastically drop. could even go to Zero.

Maybe in 20-40 years 🤷🏻‍♂️

really? you think the capitalists will dole out the tokens for APY just like that ?

In theory they would drop to reflect whatever usage there is on the individual pools. Although I didn't at first consider it myself, there could be another subsidy proposal once the current one expires. I think its April-May time frame that the current one expires

Yeah, that's why I thought a cap might help keep apy's reasonable when the subsidy is done. Then the caps could be raised as usage increases.
