I think the tech still cant handle the onboarding of it. Like the passphrases, wallets, cold wallets. still pretty hard for the layperson to understand

It's all about minimizing risk. Crypto is extremely volatile as you see. Old people don't usually risk their hard earn money on something risky. That thought process gets passed on yo younger generation
