Win yet on Linux is Gold no issues. Why aren't there Linux phones secured and réaliable on the market Yet. ???? I have done a bit of research and nothing yet ! Lets get a campaign from the heretic reliable networks aka freedom fighter pro humanity networks going. Ask and you shall receive. 2024 Let's get that CRYPTO PHONE a reality .. Brand Name for Phone ?
I mean, if you use Android, then that's pretty much based on the Linux kernel. From who you get your phone from will determine the experience you'll have as they'll probably have a custom ROM. Some ROMs can be heavily modified, adding bloatware and alter the experience, to being minimal and close to the stock version of Android. If you have an Android phone and know how, you can flash your phone with something like grapheneos or lineageos. To have a crypto marketed* phone just seems a bit cringe, IMO.
No. A real freedom phone to actually do some real freedom without the spying and having your info /data elsewhere getting sold and you left without any actual $$$ because after all it's your data. you need to understand you are dealing with blood sucking parasites of the worst kind. More info about these parasites on Unslaved dot com.
If you want a "freedom" phone, just do as I suggested, flash a custom ROM onto your phone that aligns with your use-case.
Which custom ROM would you recommend
Has been tried but nothing got off the ground. Of course any new OS phones would be a bit behind the 8 ball re available apps but would catch up eventually. Linux already has a big community writing apps so that should translate pretty quickly to phone apps for a linux phone.
IF that's true, then how easy to modify android apps to work on a normal linux os like ubuntu?
Completely different compatibility layers. Although it's different, I guess a similar analogy would be trying to run a Windows PC game on an Xbox. Both Microsoft, different compatibility.
That is what the data and history has been pointing to that.
I haven't looked into linux recently. Is it as easy to install as windows?
GrapheneOS is pretty cool
Yes, there’s nothing complicated; you can install Linux Ubuntu as a disk image on a flash drive alongside Windows. You’ll need to configure the workspace a bit and get used to it, but overall, it’s a powerful and feature-rich operating system.
