will thrive? The hidden amounts, privacy, decentralization - ASIC resistance and so on
I don’t see mass adoption solely for the fact that it’s difficult to use
Any crypto is difficult, monero just brings it to a whole new level
Welp, being your own bank gotta do the work, the trade off is full access to your funds and no authority
How is monero difficult.. you mean difficult to use or understand the protocol? The latter is some advanced math so it requires time and some knowledge already
Obtaining it has become more difficult, it is much easier to just buy bitcoin off a CEX than spend more time using localmonero with a seller. The common man will not spend that time and just use bitcoin
Monero isn't difficult to "use", rather the adoption is very low and without CEX It is going to be a lot harder to convince adoption. about the Protocol, yes its hard, but I slowly get it.
Exactly. Avg user will never figure it out.
Binance delisting is certainly not helping smh
Difficult to setup
Get wallet by downloading a app. Not that hard, but obtaining monero is for your average joe
Not the token, I mean actually setting it up for the purpose of security
im currently not running any full node to connect my wallet to. the first wallet i used was mymonero.
It’s as difficult to use as any other wallets :) everything is mostly build in without needed tweaking. I prefer the Feather 🪶 wallet over monero gui and monero cli over gui wallet :) it’s some node/ home server projects out there that let you host your own monero node with a click on a button, and connect to your own node with monero gui / feather wallet is easy :)
whats so hard about it? can install a simple wallet on your phone and move some xmr to it, then start using as money with others by swapping poublic addresses like any other crypto.
so buy your BCT off CEX then move it into a private wallet, then easily swap with XMR.
I was thinking of the node I guess
