The point of this merge attempt is to unify the

gov tokens and get everyone aligned on one token. The hope is that this unification will make fxs even stronger.

Usually when one group is in a power position (fxs) and they want to bring in smaller group (fpis), they make a very appealing offer....particularly if they want people to come in aligned and support the broader cause going forward. And yes, this might mean taking a hit if you think the long term potential is better together.

The wrong way to do it is to vampire attack them or under cut what most of the smaller group would think is fair.

In any deal people make concessions but it's usually the one courting that does more, in my experience.

Maybe we need to hear more from people who believe that "together is better" and why?
