On a completely separate note, when flexa uses lightspark lightning

nodes for payments, is amp involved at all? I don't think I've ever seen an explanation as to what transformers actually do, does anyone know?

amp is the way-

Currently, amp is still held as collateral and Flexa still uses the transaction fee to buy back amp to distribute to stakers.

I believe the last part is correct, that's my understanding. The Amp itself isn't moving through the transformer.

Thanks, so what is the purpose of having the transformers in the first place? Why is the chain relevant for holding amp as collateral? Sorry if this is a dumb question im just trying to understand better
