Bc everyone one wants info/communication so they gave us some 👍🏻
The confusion and misinformation that followed that update seems to be not so effective communication from the team
Its was awesome news some people take longer to digest
I don’t understand, there’s no whitepaper how can we know it’s awesome yet?
Have you read the Amp/flexa original white paper?
I’ve been here since 21, yes I’ve read it
So please explain what about a Whitepaper means anything? I've read dozens and dozens of white papers from projects that still ended up failing. Some even rugged. They mean nothing other than giving investors something to talk about. They're fluid. Nothing is set in stone yet so many "investors" act like it's the holy grail and concrete timeline of the company's goals. Makes no sense. DYOR.
It’s about what they intend to do and how they intend on doing it, that’s the incentive to invest. Pretty simple
Did you read their post? They give insight on what they are planning
That was info about how to claim ANVL for stakers and how it will be the new governance token for Ampera protocol no? They must release whitepaper before giving out ANVL right?
very different in DeFi where people are committing assets to a platform. White paper and security audits are essential for any real platform
But again, that still holds minimal value. They're fluid documents. Too many investors hold them as the bible, when they're not. Research the team. Their experience. What have they done and seen through from concept to release and sustained growth. Those are more important than any paper. The white paper is only as good as the team that's going to execute it. If you're solely investing based on wp's good luck to you. Like the wise Tommy Boy said about putting a guarantee on a box, "Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of shit. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will." 🤙🏻
Lol was funny, he can look up bulls ass for a t bone and well…..
But true a fancy white paper doesn’t mean anything without a solid team
At the end of the day, the white paper isn't going to execute the transactions but merely give you a glimpse of what they look to execute. That can change. Developments in tech, Blockchain, etc can all influence that. I hate seeing people whining about the divergence from the wp, which happens often. Is it needed? No. Does it make investors fell all warm and fuzzy? Obviously so
So true, like a number of the things this team/project and many others have said - can’t take it as gospel, it doesn’t come to fruition or continues to have delays
That's exactly what I was saying
Delays based on what? A previous white paper that didn't take into account Regulatory issues, a bear market, etc. Things happen. I've been a part of it first hand. White papers are guidelines of what they're trying to execute. That's it. So when you speak of delays only leads to investor worry/whining when the team just continues to build, regardless
What do you mean delays based on what? You’ve been here long enough, I have to copy and paste them all like that guy on Reddit the past few days?
Again delays based on what? The wp? I've been here since 18. I didn't invest thinking this was doing to be a linear timeline to success. I knew this would take upwards of ten years or more. Adoption isn't even at 10% globally so how does one think they were going to change the world in 5? It was the tech. The concept and the ease of use to adoption that got me. Not their wp timeline. It should be ambitious but investors that don't research or understand this market need to realize there's going to be delays. I'm in other projects that I've been holding even longer. Not a single one has hit every wp target but they're all still here and still making me money and building. You're looking to make money even get rich, I'm looking to make generational wealth. Big difference. And why I don't hang on every delay or lack of communication. If they wanted to rug, they could've done that six years ago.
Pin this one day
Not a tough concept to understand. People throw money away in this industry without doing homework on what's really being built. These projects/companies are all just vehicles to something bigger. Understand development. Understand business management. Understand Blockchain. This is a whole new animal. WP's are useless in my mind. Great read at the onset. I bet there's been billions lost/rugged, especially 2016-2018, based on wp's alone. Stopped worrying about them. I wanted team names and work experience. Wanted to interact with them more importantly. Realized I was saving myself money by investing in people, not Concepts. I avoided plenty of rugs with that focus. Did the same here and why I'm still buying 6+ years later
Interesting take seeing as how it’s the team that sets the expectation then doesn’t come through on the timeline they set. Who’s to say we shouldn’t hold them accountable or at the very least comment/question about that? People want to know what’s changed. It’s the same reason why the standard is for companies to do quarterly reports and investment updates, for crypto based businesses I certainly wouldn’t mind something like that. I’ve been in crypto since 2015. When the Ethereum Foundation makes changes/ has updates or delays, they have been pretty quick to address the what and why, as well as communicate effectively as to not have mass confusion or FUD. Most of the AMP diehards arguments seems to be “The team doesn’t HAVE to share anything”. Sure, but is that why there’s constantly so much confusion and frustration from AMP holders, or is this exclusively an AMP holder issue that just circulates only around this project? Or did we get unlucky and simply attract the most sour and frustrated investors? Take a look at the subreddit, it’s pretty sad the state of peoples mentality on this project. Due to what, maybe you can try to explain to them.
FREE GAME 🔥🔥🔥 bro just dropped some serious knowledge
And it's interesting you bring up Ethereum Foundation when discussing delays with amp/flexa. Eth 2.0 has been in a constant state of delays. Does that mean the team is incapable of delivery? No, not by any means. Just means there's a constant adaptation to info/tech that they're all trying to develop/utilize. Are there things that flexa can do better? Absolutely, but again how does the wp have any bearing on that now? It doesn't. Did they miss some of their "target" deadlines? Yes. But again, I invested in the team. Not the wp. So having experience in this industry and the corporate world in general, I don't let it drive my emotions. I did my homework and invested what I was willing to risk. Granted I got in so early, there's really only one way I lose, if they disappear. I've never not been in profit. So I've followed my own advice and I'm good with that. I just don't get how the wp has any bearing on what they will do going forward with amp or anvil
The point continues to be Communication. Not the fact that they haven’t come through on the expectations they set, but that they haven’t communicated effectively to all of the stakers who are invested and are supporting the project. The WP is a big piece of that official communication. It does indeed sway investment and interest
Again, are there things that can be better? Absolutely. But I get where the team is with that communication. Often times, one message turns into a thousand questions. Some of which can't be discussed. Communication was better until SEC issues came up. Regulatory uncertainty has affected a lot of projects. One I was a part of directly so I get where they're coming from. Could it be better? Yes. Will it? IMO, it will as they're buttoned down from a regulatory perspective and launch imminent
