Well its "on request" as it stands, which is what data streams is doing (pull based). I am not sure what the answer is there for high frequency use, that would prob have to be solved by executing on an L2 perhaps

Maybe in the future it can be built with a batching system, so a large number of requests are rolled up and executed on an L2

TrustDice was using VRF for some of its crypto casino functions. Been a year or two since ive followed them tho.
