be "Monero Team" and swoops in to try give you tech support if you face wallet syncing issues. They try send you to this link https://nodeserversolutions.com/?v=1 to enter your seed phrase.
I had fun giving them phrases connected to empty wallets and seeing them try enter a phrase that contained the words "suck these sweaty balls." If youre bored you could flood their site with fake phrases or phrases to empty wallets. Peace out
Thanks for the warning, but you better not have left a scam link here. the call "for fun" to do as you did is not very convincing to follow the link
Good point. I edited and removed the link, only accessed from sandboxed environments but you're right it's dangerous to post it
The link is node server solutions and the telegram contact looks kinda legit with the blue tick etc. But but they're willing to enter and wait for empty wallets to sync...and to try and to try enter phrases that contain "suck these sweaty balls" 🤣
someone needs to write some type of AI / ML model that fucks with these kind of people to the most efficient degree possible with the sole purpose of attempting to waste their time
whats their username?
probably something like douchebag or dickhead
they also wrote to me yesterday after my post about a cold wallet in this chat. there was no links just advice on which cold wallet to buy but no answer to the question "where can i pay with monero?" from them
I agree. It could involve old but empty wallets with some transaction history. These seem to take longer to sync than new and empty wallets
just generate new ones each time 😁️️️️
He wrote me too When I asked the difference b/w 16 digit pharse and 25 digit His answer was funny More phrases more security 😂😂
It is not clear what his meaning of existence is, even in my example with me
