Q1 2025 sounds good to me 👍. I want to do ZSA membership at The Zebra Lounge. We are now aiming to be up and running and doing events by Q2 2024. Was thinking of other ideas for conferring membership pre-ZSA launch. Was thinking of maybe linking membership to ownership of one of a collection of zcash based nfts.. Like the cypherPunk zero nft collection. Any community thoughts on this idea? Or is it best to just wait for ZSAs to drop?

I spoke with Jonathan at Qedit yesterday. I think its possible that they will have it ready this year. They need to do a security audit, get the circuits reviewed in depth (weeks of work) and implement the fee mechanism. I don't believe it's possible to launch them this year but can see a path to Q1 2025. As they won't be supported in zcashd, we need to find a solution to augmenting zebrad with a wallet. That hasn't been sorted out yet as the ZF has stated that they won't provide one.
