That’s something that @thomas7646 would need to comment on

VPN is on operating system level. So you have a piece of software running on the OS (macOS, iOS, Android) that establish a secure connection to e.g. the enterprise office. Is the VPN software is enabled, all traffic when using the OS (Wifi, cellular) will be routed to the enterprise office. DBOS can do this on a network level: No change on the OS, no VPN software needed. The eSIM establishs a secure connection, e.g. to an enterprise offce. Automatically, all traffic over the DENT eSIM will be terminated in this case to the enterprise office.
