Hey everyone ✌🏻 Some important information you should know

📃

- We have momentarily disabled the UOS swap function from UOS Mainnet —> UOS ERC-20

- The reason is a change in the fees charged by our 3rd party provider, Pnetwork starting from 28.03.2024

- Until the 28.03 there was almost 0 fees for swapping. Which was because Pnetwork was subsidizing the swap for our community. Due to internal changes in their operations they changed their swap subsidies.

How will this affect Ultra?

When we re-enable the swap function from Ultra Mainnet - ERC-20 , the fees will be different. The difference will be that now ETH gas fees + a Flat rate minimum will be applied. The exact amount will be informed when we re-open it.

For anyone who swapped from 28.03 until today , and was affected by this new structure without previous knowledge of this , Ultra will reimburse those wallets

I’m also really hoping there’s a plan B. They seem like a potentially critical third-party liability that we could do without longterm, particularly with the fact that a lot of hacks occur around issues with bridges. I still have PTSD from a couple exploits 😂 Anyone know of any other EOSIO-EVM bridging solutions? 🤔 I’m afraid I don’t.
