Why do we assume we could understand who and what

God is? We don't even understand ourselves much less are we able to wrap our heads around who/what the maker of all things is.

And yet...he came to this world as a child. Born of the flesh under the law. A child. Who grew to be a man. A man who lived a sinless life but bore the punishment for our sins. Hung on a cross. He came to be known and offer eternal life to all who believe. He now sits at the right hand of the Father to present those who believe as pure and blameless.
