Why did they stop ? Just because of recent regulation ? We've been in touch with lawyers for months and what we are doing is 100% legal

They stopped due to their own scare of “possible” non existent regulation. Was sometime in 2020 SCRT moved kinda shakey tbh, only allowed bridge through Google chrome & not chromium in general. Plus idk how good their liquidity draw was. Tested it out but it never gained traction.

They started the project before any meeting with lawyers ? A lot of people are afraid of " future " regulation, like MiCA in Europe , even when they know it will start in the next year

Your points are very valid , the problem is the trust of people will be the downfall . Every project that was supposed to incorporate XMR for better liquidity magically cancelled their plans during all privacy scares. Thor chain probably the biggest case. SCRT has a bridge to their XRM ERC equivalent. May want to see what problems they faced
