Is anyone worried about metamask coins being locked up by

the feds? Saw news today that the SEC is going after metamask. I’m thinking of getting off of there but not sure where I should go. Asking here because the majority of my holdings are FTM

So they locking coins or locking the wallet software? If you have your private keys, then you can just access them from another wallet

They aren’t locking anything yet but I’m worried they might somehow lock all the metamask wallet addresses. I’m not sure if that is even technically possible tbh

They can mess with a centralised software / wallet, but not with a decentralised coin (like ftm). so your good there 👍 don't worry much. Just make sure you have your private keys

lol, metamask is just a ui to access your tokens that are stored on a blockchain. all you need is your seed phrase and you can access your tokens from any evm wallet

It’s not technically possible for even Metamask itself to lock your Metamask wallet address
