that will never be able to be taken down by any government entity?
Update PHP, it is that simple. People get lazy and leave holes open
You're saying the US government wouldn't have been able to seize Samurai Wallet if they used a PHP website?
Samurai wallet is on the clear net anyway, way easier to take down. I was referring to sites like Lockbit, that got seized because the owner forgot to update their PHP
arweave permaweb ?
Is arweave a decent investment? I've come across it a few times but haven't taken the time to learn about it
4 of my rigs mining arweave, never bought as an investment tho
man that's goals, can I ask how much you roughly make from mining? I want to get into it myself but I live in a tiny apartment, I'll have to move somewhere else I think
For me ($0.1 / kWh) it's enough to pay for electricity bill & hold the rest. It really depend on your electricity cost, under $0.2 / kWh is still profitable I think
There'll always be a possibility for a site to be taken down. Even if you host it on tor, ipfs, blockchain solutions (flux, arweave, etc), there's always going to be a machine hosting it that can be taken down. Some options aren't as easy as others to shut down, but it is definitely possible. Think about it, if you're a provider and someone is utilizing your resources with illegal stuff, do you really want to continue on with that customer who's a huge risk and liability to you? Most (almost all) providers say no. Even content on Arweave can be taken down if the node feels you're a risk to their node.
You can do what our exchange does, Create a backup every day of the website and database, and use cloudflare, if your site host takes it down just point the domain to the new host.
