reduced from 7 days for Frax tokens in the future?
Our goal is to make Frax Asset bridging extremely fast between mainnet<>Fraxtal. The Fraxtal Ferry already has been lowered to 12 hour bridging and we're working on lowering the time to near instant over the coming weekly in a safe & secure manner. In the future, Frax Asset movement should become very fast regardless of the L2 bridge itself since Frax Assets can flow through both the ferry and the L2 bridge.
Sounds good. Any update on FPIS merge? 😁
Merge locker contract is finished ser, not too long now.
Are you going to announce a launch time for the FPIS merge or launch without announcing a time? Will the FPIS merge and FPIS unlock happen at the same time?
We'll announce it about 48 hours in advance. The unlock and merge opening will happen at around the same time. But it's not like it's some kind of first-come-first serve race so it shouldn't be a big deal whether people lock quickly or not.
That’s pretty cool, and what about the goal of being decentralized? What happened with frxGov? frxETH v2 addressed all the centralization challenges? If we don’t move fast enough with the decentralization we can become an easy target for regulators
Fraxtal IS part of the solution to fully decentralizating and having a self-sustaining ecosystem and economy. frxETH v2 indeed will allow anyone to run validators when it is fully deployed. frxGov is already running on Fraxlend and Fraxlend is the most decentralized and immutable part of the system so far. frxGov can and will be expanded to deployments on Fraxtal.
I understand the idea behind frxGov being maximum decentralization. But have there been any thoughts on how it impacts coding illiterate people?
Did we gonna have deadline to lock ur FPIS ?
Is there a good piece on the frax ferry trust assumptions somewhere?
