to the most used protocols? They most likely make up for the gas they make with pulling users in, and making them spend on other protocols? Or might be to easy to abuse? 🤔
I have not seen the interview with Jesse, so, this might have been answered but, with the gas being so cheap, would gas rebates even move the needle for a protocol?
Yeah, he talks about gas rebates not being exciting for builders since gas costs are so cheap. I'm not sure on the numbers, but maybe just redistributing fraxtal revenue based on fxtl earned during the epoch might be sufficient. Then popular contracts are getting an outsized portion of fraxtal revenue instead of just gas back.
That is the goal of FXTL from my understanding.
Oh yeah, 💯. I just mean maybe the mechanism to do that is as simple as a tamm order for fxs with fraxtal revenue redistributed to wallets based on the fraction of fxtl earned during the epoch. Or something to that effect.
Depends, he said in the interview he expects L2 fees to become 5-30% of L1 fees once the blubs fills up. Then gasrebates for the leading protocols would be meaningful 👍
