Not possible, it is a decentralized network.
Tor is decentralized can u prove it
What is there to prove? Tor is not a service, it is more of a network
the only thing that can be realistically shutdown is the device you are using to connect to tor, not the entire tor network itself
They wont shut it down becauae they use it, and having other users involved on the network allows them to blend in better. Them being 3 letter gheys
Lets say How hard would it be to make a decentralized version of Tor on a new block-chain?
Why would it need to be on a blockchain
you’re better off asking gpt 4 these questions my friend
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
Why not put it on a blockchain so its immutable???
I2p
why would anyone want that
Both Loki (or whatever it’s called now) and Mysterium kinda do that (less so). Sorta. Incentivized immutable networks. Otherwise most L2s/web3 protocols can function in that way if there’s the ability to compute and/or host websites, right?
Blockchains arent the answer for every single problem. They solve the problem of decentralized consensus but they are inefficient compared to a centralized ledger. The difference being trust. I cant really see how putting TOR on a blockchain would help. Care to elaborate?
U know web3 failed when eth switched from proof of work right?crypto bros concerned about their shtcoins and stable-coins fail to realize that?
