Sometimes I wonder if a big issue is this ongoing dev fund and 20%. I mean it is and it seems like way more are against extending. My question is (which I’m hoping someone in here can enlighten me) what does that mean for zcash if it didn’t get extended? I believe flood of confidence comes in but is this for the good or bad in the long run. Shame it seems like it took forever to do anything from what I’ve read. But I don’t believe everything I read

Yes so this is what I was wondering but a lot of people saying not a lot was achieved when it was already extended for 4 years. Is there a reason for that or is that not true?

no its entirely true. tons of things have been achieved but its not visible. and ppl dont see the value.

It’s more a perceptional issue rather than something that impacts on price. People seem to not like the concept of it. Because in practice 80% outweighs largely on price impact (Sorry for mentioning price) But every coin needs devs and devs need to be paid for their work. And community seems to have trouble on finding the common ground about how devs should be funded. We are all agree that we should decentralise funding and decision making but can’t agree on how to do it and how to switch to it smoothly.

We’re not popular enough imo. My friends want to buy ZEC but it’s no more available on Binance France… and most of them can’t open coinbase because they are in French overseas territory.
