Yes, between L2 and Ethereum. Not the old MTL.
Is there an Old MTL and a New MTL in L1? Here's what I understand, please let me know if I'm wrong. (1) We may have the current MTL (0xf433089366899d83a9f26a773d59ec7ecf30355e) in metamask before the snapshot. (2) Two days after the snapshot, the new MTL will be airdropped to L2 (but it is more accurate to call it an automatic migration rather than an airdrop). (3) The existing MTL mentioned in (1) will be useless as it is not supported by the exchange, and the MTL migrated to L2 can be deposited and held on an exchange that supports MTL (L2). Am I understanding this correctly? If yes, what is the New MTL(L1)?
1) Yes, the current MTL would stay available in Metamask. 2) An airdrop will occur to complete the migration. 3) It's V2 MTL from L2 that would also be available on the Ethereum network.
thanks sir. how do i get NEW MTL(L2)?
By holding MTL in an Ethereum based wallet like Webauth or Metamask. Which is recommended to ensure you receive it. Or hold with an exchange that supports the airdrop.
Above, we said that if you hold the old MTL in the metamask, it will be migrated to the new MTL (L2). But where does the new MTL (L1) come from?
You would bridge from L2 to Ethereum.
If you mean the new MTL that was on L2 coming to L1 over the bridge, then it's not adding to the total number of volumes, then I wouldn't worry about it.
