Charles said his goal was to fill the GC by

the end of this year. They have 7 seats left and 6 months . You think we're going to get more than 1 per month on average? I personally doubt it. Seems like Hedera has a hard time hitting deadlines - community nodes, GC seats, TPS, etc.
Maybe they should stop over-promising & under-delivering. And no this isn't fud, I'm using timelines stated publicly by people who work for the project.

It’s still their goal.. they never said it would be a guarantee. Also sharky Rob told in an interview that that’s the goal and he thinks they are going to get close. Also fin if the last seats will be filled end of first quarter 2025 latest
