They can't be upgraded and are made to not be backwards compatible. Ergo, almost no wallet software will run on it. The ssd is just parts soldered to the motherboard, no way to upgrade it. It also forced an upgrade over a metered connection whilst set not to, that bricked the damn thing. Over $700 to fix it.

yea well its really scary to get high end specs and spend like 5k on a razer or smth. had 2 faulty keyboards from them 500euro combined ... 0 quality control

I don't have a MacBook lappie but this discussion regarding Asahi Linux is very encouraging. I can only imagine it will be smooth sailing from here on. Anywho, big props to the Asahi devs for delivering the Linux goodies on Mac Silicon hardware. Maxi Expat IT Consultant {Linux, Windows Server, Point Of Sale, Network Storage, WordPress... } 📌 Daily driving Linux on M1 MacBook I just put it on my mbp m2 pro 32gb ram with hyprland and it’s sooo nice. Audio works fantastically, my Bluetooth headphones and devices all connect fine. Minor things I installed unofficial Spotify client (spot) Battery life is “only” 10 hours USB-C display not ready yet.
