Hex value (popularity) has the advantage as being a stand alone App used for earning yield in a simple easy to understand and safe way. It works really well. It also benefits from the success of Pulsechain because it serves as the ecosystems principle "currency". It all depends upon how popular Pulsechain becomes. People are starting to figure out what separates L1 chains from each other is culture and community. If Pulse remains technically up to date (and it should as it can mirror the best tech from ETH going forward) and it enhances Decentralisation, respects Privacy, and it has a Community that has its own identity and usefulness - then it could easily eclipse that past market cap. In the end, we will all be transacting more and more on digital economic platforms - we get to chose our own chains.
