Truly said, malware bytes brought up nearly 38 infections which defender didn't. Removing them fixed the issue. Also the mining kept stopping after 15 minutes or so, whether using Gupax, GUI or CLI before. Now, Have put the gui to smart mining. Let's see if it stays consistent. My rig is a bare metal 9th gen Intel i5.

running on windows or some minimal os from DOS without booting Windows? would also recommend to have sperate wallets for storing and mining since primary mining address is visible

Windows. Now however I am thinking of hive, tails or qubes. Thanks for the suggestion of seperate wallet, was also thinking the same, won't it cause unnecessary fees. Also was thinking about a Dip wallet and DCA wallet.

would sent to new wallet which isn't generated on this machine preferably on a airgabed device with the address generator you could find on moneromooos git or Luigi's git or site and use after you have verified keys and hashes and as for the fees... Its XMR we are talking about, dont think that a fraction of a penny would be an issue.dca is always a great strategy

if address starts with the nr 4 then it is your primary address which is unique for any wallet, f it begins with an 8 then its a sub address of which you can generate as many as you want and use any of them but no matter if primary or sub, the address you copy should be the same with the one you pasted, if not then personally i can not imagine any scenario in which i could trust the device even a bit, antivirus scan do not mean much in my eyes and if you are running windows then maybe tails on a USB may be worth considering although ditching windows would still be the best option
