Hi there, I am considering running a zcash node. I am used

to monero where I can connect wallets to my node either on my local network or via onion.

I haven't found any Zcash wallet that have this capability.
Is there any external Zcash wallet (not the one coming with the node) that can connect to a specific node via local network ip address or via Tor onion ?

Monero seems easier in term of setting up anonymity. ECC does not seem to have much focus on that. Only way might be for someone to create an umbrel version but still no wallet resolving onion address

I'm not, I'm totally serious. Most exchange software will take your coins and put them in their hot wallet, then usually you will get different coins when you withdraw.

Anonymity and privacy are two different things.

Neither Monero or Zcash offer anonymity. Anonymity comes throught using a properly setup node, vpn, tor and non linking you asset through KYC

Yeah, problem is that XMR can be traced exchange-to-exchange so unless you didn't get your XMR on an exchange, you are done.

I dont know for this to connect they wallet to our private node because and i have ask this questions before but no one answered And you can't run a zcash node over tor/i2p They not support only on clearnet For my opinion zcash it sucks
