Eric I'M watching the block explorer, and every block I see

a transaction with 1 shielded input and 48 outputs. They pay a small fee of 0.00002408 ZEC (one tenth of a penny). These transactions are getting confirmed. Is this spam, and if so, how is it getting confirmed? https://mainnet.zcashexplorer.app/transactions/17bb14f81e9fb5f7793c21ae718f81099ea0fd6f8dd89095e145ffb84f029cc4

Conrado It is indeed spam. When the new fee rules were introduced, an "unpaid action limit" was added so that wallets that weren't updated with the news fees could keep working, but this means that some spam txs can still be mined. This limit will be removed in the next release of the zcashd node.
