ask myself
It’s not keeping them now, so what’s going to change.. what’s the plan… ya know? It’s decentralized right, no one is tasked with adoption strategy… it’s told to inexperienced community members it’s their job. To explain and onboard users to a technical finance tool with many ways for people to lose money at every point. In my opinion something significant needs to change in the mentality around Ergo’s core teams. Or the egos and dated cypherpunk ideology is going to prevent Ergo from ever living up to its potential. Software engineers make up like 2.5% of pop in America, so can image an even smaller % who actually understand crypto/blockchain… Ergo caters to that tiny minority, and assumes 99% (the actual users) will somehow “catch on”… And yeah, before they catch on to a different chain that has similar tools and more communication/education/marketing..
[wowneroenjoyer] Nobody is even thinking about doing it the way Ergo has done, I think we're good
[gabgno] My mind is anxious about the details but my gut and heart couldn't agree more with that statement. Jeeez
lol, this is extremely naive of you to think and the ego I am speaking about.
