Not nice that they have decided not to renew your contract just like that, and your honest feedback was appreciated. That is key to be objective, regardless of position taken and talk openly where improvement could be made to benefit whole ecosystem.
I can't believe it Brandon... seems meaningless to me that they fired you...sad😭
I've always said the best money the foundation has spent was on Karate Combat & The HBARBULL show. I've always looked forward to watching it on Fridays. I hope you continue to work for Hedera in some capacity. If not, you could do a weekly podcast with sponsorship or paid show (subscription model).
100% Agree. Brandon is the best Hedera voice for retail education on what is going on in the Hedera ecosystem. Not renewing his contract is a bad sign in my opinion. Can't the take constructive criticism? Maybe they wanted him just to give the positives. Good on you, @TheHbarBull, for always giving it to us straight. Let's hope you can continue and good sense is shown from Hedera.
The only way to live.
I was always super impressed with your ability to articulate usecases and connect the dots within the Hedera ecosystem system.. and it was my pleasure meeting you in person in Austin and shaking hands with you. if your contract was not renewed I hope you were at least told WHY? Just as a professional courtesy.. if not it is what it is. Well I hope this becomes your intrinsic motivation to build something of your own !! Good luck friend
No reason give as of yet.
Well this is another topic of crusade for the community then
Is Zep still going to make appearances on your show?
There was a reason the changes were introduced in Airline industry at time. Senior captain pilot makes mistakes and less senior co-officer does not react as being afraid. That is how life's were lost in biggest Tenerife disaster and many others. It is safer since then to fly since then as changes were made to culture and junior pilots will not be afraid to point out or stop senior pilots making mistakes. Other industries need to learn from that culture and not have hierarchical approaches with staff being ridiculed for outlining problems. You did that in very diplomatic and not damaging way.
It may not be anything to do with the criticism. Maybe they're just playing it ultra safe with regards to having an employee paid in hbar to produce hedera content on social media platforms. Maybe as the ceo has changed contracts aren't being renewed until things are more clear. Or maybe it's a strategic overhaul, which is what many here were asking for. Perhaps Brandon's offer to resign raised a few questions at a higher level over his commitment to the role. Time will tell. Thanks for all your hard work Brandon and I hope you keep producing quality content
yes but then it could be communicated in advance that employees are not allowed or should stop talking about price in video going forward. In industry and company I work, I cannot even talk or link or like products the company is releasing so it is not seen as promotion. It is highly regulated, hence I am not even visiting any social media sites company uses.
Probably not as long as he’s with THF.
Of course he’s welcome, but I don’t think he’s comfortable rocking the boat. This is his first gig out of university.
