Yeah and that is what EF did before with Spectrum and Rosen. However, if EF will choose where to put funds based on possibility of returns it would make it investment arm of some kind

There must be some disagreement on this. Because all new systems/protocols give "charity" to EF. SPF, Rosen now gluon..... But I bet those 300k+ gluons or at least part of it could have been given to raffle participants, raffle would be fulfilled in minutes. 5k raffle gives 5k gluons right? What's the point of EF funding raffle, grab even more gluons. Community will get peanuts from protocol compared to ef in any case. I'm more amazed that whales are not interested in gluons.
